Raven Anderson is a senior at St. Elizabeth School in Baltimore City. She has been coming to LINC on two days a week to learn basic computer skills in preparation for a job after graduation. Raven has a keen interest in computers and is a self-starter when it comes to learning the many aspects of technology. In the job training program, she is learning how to type, working on proper hand placement and increasing her speed and accuracy. She is also learning how to change fonts, styles, size and alignment, how to edit text using the backspace and delete keys, and how to import graphics into a word processing document. She will tell you that her career goal is to work in the media, and graphic arts field. In her spare time, she has taught herself how to download files and photos on CD-roms, and can transfer mp3 (digital music) files to listen to when she is on the road. Raven is working with her school counselor to secure a job after she graduates in June.
