Display your Mac Desktop on a TV

LINC has added the MyView to the loan library, and has installed it in two Baltimore City Public Schools classrooms and trained teachers in its use. MyView is a new concept in video mirroring. It is a device that allows you to display your Macintosh desktop on a standard TV or Video Projector without the need for a VGA connector and video scan converter.

The device mirrors your active desktop on any analog video device by digitally compressing your Macintosh display; sending the compressed image data over the USB bus where the digital stream is decompressed and encoded to the television video for presentation, display and/or recording. The resulting image quality is superior due to the video stream's all digital nature and lack of digital-to-analog scan conversion and its inherent artifacting.

With MyView's high quality filtering, text legibility is on par with scan converters costing thousands of dollars. The best part is that the MyView only costs $150.
