This summer LINC staff, Jean Wunder, Special Education Coordinator and Sandy Kowalczuk, Technology Coordinator, attended a three-day conference for Intellitools training in San Rafael, California. The program titled" Meeting the Standards, Accessible Math and Language Arts," featured hands-on training with Intellitools technology to create fun and exciting activities. Specialists in the fields of math and language arts presented accessible solutions to creative writing, spelling, and hands-on math activities using Intellipics, Overlay Maker, Intellitalk and Click It!
Among all the opportunities for learning and sharing, there was time for fun, including a dinner at a local winery with language and interactive games. Open lab hours were available throughout the weekend. Many practical ideas were brought back by Jean and Sandy and will be put to use with LINC members.©

For those not connected to the Internet, Intellitools has prepared a CD-Rom as a resource and to demonstrate a commitment to training teachers and sharing activities created with Intellitools products. Both the CD and the website contain a host of activities that demonstrates how people are utilizing the products to promote independence and access to the curriculum. There are also extensive hands-on training tutorials, PowerPoint slideshows and supplemental files to enhance your trainings.
