Baltimore Association for Retarded Citizens - Specialized Foster Care program provides on-going case management and support services to children diagnosed with a developmental disability to ensure maximum opportunities for full participation in all aspects of life in the community. Individual treatment goals are designed utilizing a child-centered, family-focused team work approach. Treatment Foster Care program provides intensive, time limited therapeutic services in a community based setting to youth who are dually diagnosed with a developmental disability and a serious emotional disturbance. CSAAC's Intensive Early Intervention Services - based on a method developed by Dr. Ivar Lovaas offers behavioral treatment for young children with autism ages 24 months to 5 years. The Chimes - Medical day habilitation for adults over 21 who have not yet reached a stage where vocational training is a priority, Chimes/Maryland offers a licensed medical day care program. The focus is on sensory stimulation and skills for hygiene, socialization, personal care, mobility, and basic living. Older adults with disabilities participate with other seniors in stimulating activities to help maintain these skills.

PACT: Helping Children with Special Needs - The combined resources of PACT and Kennedy Krieger offer a comprehensive menu of services to families whose children are developmentally disabled, as well as those whose parents have cognitive limitations. United Cerebral Palsy of Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties, Inc. Family Works - the Maryland's Goals 2000 Parent Information & Resource Center - supports parents in their roles as nurturers and primary teachers of their children and strengthens partnerships between parents and their children's educational settings.

First Call for Help - A free, confidential, statewide, comprehensive information and referral service in Maryland which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Trained information and referral specialists inform callers in search of human services about available community resources, provide information, guidance, referrals, counseling, advocacy and crisis intervention.

Interdisciplinary Council on Developmental and Learning Disorders (ICDL) - Clinical Practice Guidelines for the benefit of infants, children, and families with special needs may be downloaded and disseminated without charge.

Maryland Committee for Children, Inc. (MCC) is an advocate and catalyst for the development of a strong system of quality child care, early education, and family support. Offers LOCATE: Child Care which is a statewide computerized child care resource and referral counseling system.

The National Information Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities (NICHCY)- is the national information and referral center that provides information on disabilities and disability-related issues for families, educators, and other professionals with a special focus on children and youth (birth to age 22). Parent's Place of Maryland - a non-profit family-centered organization whose purpose is to enhance the lives of persons with disabilities. The Arc of Montgomery County (The Arc, MC) - Parent to Parent Network provides emotional and informational support to parents with children who have disabilities. The respite house in Potomac provides services for up to three guests.

Family Support Services program at PACT offers identification, referral and coordination of services for families. Flexible funds are also available to purchase resources and services needed by families.
