DynaMyte
Sentient Systems has just introduced DynaMyte, a breakthrough for ambulatory communicators who want a powerful, easy-to-carry aug com device. DynaMyte is half the weight and size of DynaVox 2 devices, but still includes all the great features. DynaMyte uses a dynamic display to allow communicators to move smoothly through natural message formation processes using synthesized or digitized speech. No memorization of any code-driven system is required. Some of the other special features include touch, visual and auditory scannings; built-in remote environmental control unit (ECU) to operate televisions, VCR's, CD players and other appliances; a talking word processor with the capability of speeches and other long documents; and complete computer access through an infrared receiver. |
