WriTalk is a writing pad that is connected to other WriTalk pads through an ordinary telephone line. It allows users to have a written conversation with other parties anywhere at anytime. Communications can be sent simultaneously. WriTalk accomodates handwriting and pictures and there is an accessory keyboard available. In addition, WriTalk can automatically record messages like an answering machine and it can send images from its tablet to a fax machine.

The PalmTalk adds the flexibility of cellular communication and it runs on batteries. Also the PalmTalk has an Infra Red transceiver that can communicate with other PalmTalk models wirelessly.
