TELEVIEW 80, 80T, 80TDD

The TeleView models are one-unit telephones and telecommunication devices for the deaf (TDD or Text Telephone - TT) that allow visual input/output telephone communication.

MODEL 80: The telephone is hearing aid compatible. The text telephone features a 4-row, full-size keyboard with a 20-column display and 80-column printer. Other features include 8K memory and an acoustic coupler to accommodate round, square, Trimline, and cordless handsets.

MODEL 80T: includes all the features of the Model 80, plus direct connection, built-in telephone ringer, 32K of memory, two auto answering units, and Voice Cross Over network capabilities. Voice Carry Over allows a person to use the telephone and TT features during the same call. For example: a person could speak for themself on the phone and then use the TT features to receive the other person's response. Or, a person could use the TT to express themself and then pick up the phone handset to listen to the other person.

MODEL 80TDD: includes all the features of the Model 80T, as well as a time/date stamp, remote message retrieval, a voice announcer, message-on-hold capabilities, and "International" 50 Baud Baudot.

OPTIONS (For all three models): Built-in and remote phone flashers; 300 and 110 Baud ASCII capabilities (including automatic detection); amplified handset; printer interface; and enlarged font (.375 inch high letters), 20-character visual display for persons with visual disabilities.
POWER: Ni-Cad rechargeable battery operated.
